Good nutrition is part of a good day, so meals and snacks are built into the Magic Hours schedule rather than treated as an afterthought. Here’s how feeding works across our programs.
Infants
Our infant room follows intuitive feeding, meaning bottles and solids happen on your baby’s own schedule and pace, not a fixed clock. We work closely with families to follow the routine you’ve already established at home, and we’ll keep you updated on feedings throughout the day.
Toddlers through Transitional Kindergarten
Children in our Toddler, Preschool 1, Preschool 2, and Transitional Kindergarten programs are served meals and snacks throughout the day:
- Full day: lunch, plus a morning and afternoon snack.
- Half day: a snack is included.
Meals are eaten together, family-style, which gives children a chance to practice table manners, try new foods alongside their friends, and build the kind of everyday independence that carries into kindergarten.
Allergies and special diets
If your child has a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary restriction, let us know when you enroll (or any time after). We work with families directly to keep mealtimes safe and included for every child.
Questions about a specific week’s menu?
Ask your child’s teacher or reach out to us directly. We’re happy to walk through what’s on the menu, talk about allergies, or answer anything else on your mind before your child’s first day.
